If you are looking for our favourite stronger Awiri, you can find it here: https://www.sacredlotus.eu/products/rape-without-tobacco-awiri-apurina-tribe-green-strong-jungle-love

Apurina Awiri Rapé without tobacco, weak variant. This is Awiri from a different source than normal, and, unfortunately, it is very very mild in comparison to the normal one I use, so I like it less. However, it does have an effect where it does connect with nature and lift the mood. So it is worth a try if you like very mild rapé.

What is rapé?
Rapé (pronounced hape) is a traditional shamanic tool used by various South American tribes - mainly in Brazil and Peru. It is a mixture of plants: the mixture may include tree bark, seeds and ash. The fine powder is blown into each nostril through a blowpipe called Tepi (used to blow on another) or Kuripe (used to blow on oneself).
Each tribe has its own rapé formula. Most of the time, women collect the ingredients. The selection, mixing and crushing of plants is considered a ritual and is done by the tribal healer. Traditionally, this mixture is made for a specific person by choosing exactly what the person needs or for what occasion the mixture is made.
The purpose of using rapé is to reconnect with nature and give a sense of grounding. It dispels mental fog and confusion by removing negative thought structures.
This mixture
This Awiri rapé is produced by the Apuriña tribe in Brazil. Not only does it contain no tobacco, it also contains no ash. The only ingredients are dried plant leaves. The main one, the Awiri plant, is considered by local tribes as a plant that must be grown in one's land, as it is believed to bring joy to the family, it is also cosidered cousin of tobacco. It is interesting that the effect of this mixture is similar - if necessary, a larger amount can help to cleanse, but afterwards (or using a smaller amount) it causes a pleasant meditative, calming sensation, gives the ability to better notice the beauty around us. This is probably why some people share that it helped them overcome depressive states. Members of the Apurina tribe use it to help focus during meditation. Also used for relaxation and release of anxiety.
Without tobacco
Traditionally, most rapé blends contain tobacco. Tobacco perfectly helps to ground and purify energies. But it can also be addictive. And in my environment I had to see that this happens quite often. This is why we have never sold rapé until now, but now by connecting more deeply with this ceremonial healing tool we have found a way to experience the healing effects of rapé without the risk of addiction.
