Brief instructions for male therapists
I wanted to write this post a couple of months ago when I heard the stories of several women about their experiences with male spiritual teachers/healers. Anyway, those stories made me think - maybe I'm very naive... Or maybe men just don't really understand how to deal with female customers and what is acceptable and what isn't... Because sometimes it seems that almost everyone is unable to distinguish between their sexuality from their work. So, a quick memo for men (by the way, it can also apply to women, although somehow I have not heard such stories about them) who want to provide any kind of spiritual or manual services:
1. Forget any sexual thoughts during any therapy or ceremony you conduct. Maybe you think that "if I proposed some activity and she agreed, then she wanted it herself"? When a person comes to you and needs help physically or spiritually, it is expected that they will completely relax and trust the person they visited. During such processes, certain internal barriers often fall, and by the way, this is also the aspiration, because this is the only way to unearth something that is deeply stuck (I am not talking about situations where some natural medicine or the like is used). But it also makes customers more vulnerable and more likely to act differently than they would in normal situations. And they are not responsible for this. If you take it upon yourself to teach, to treat people, at least while they are in your therapy, you are responsible for them and for them not to do something they will later regret.
2. "And what if the woman herself offers something sexual during the therapy?" See the first point. You are responsible for the process and for making sure that the person does not do what they do not want to do.
3. "What if I met the woman of my dreams during my session?" Okay, if that already happened, wait until the session is over, she will go home, catch her breath, return to a more normal state, and in about 3 days you can call her or something. to a date in a NEUTRAL environment.
4. "What if my healing is related to sexual energies" (or otherwise "I have a healing magic wand that is very helpful in liberating women")? That's all very well, cheers, BUT tell the woman clearly and honestly what to expect (be it touches in the erogenous zones, or a full coitus session or something else) BEFORE she makes an appointment with you. Then you will be found by women who are looking for such treatment. If you follow these simple rules, we can all feel safer

About male masseurs who cannot control their sexual energy
It's sad that the sacred healing space of massage so often becomes the witness of a traumatic experience... Why does this happen?... I'll start with the fact that I have a whole group of friends and acquaintances who are massage therapists and most of the male massage therapists have extremely heightened sexual energy. When it comes to our energy centers, the chakras, more is not always better. It is bad when the chakra is closed, but "exploding" also becomes a problem. I don't want to give such a comparison, but the fact that men with such an imbalance of sexual energy decide to engage in massage is equivalent to a person with pedophilic urges working in a kindergarten. At this point, I would not be able to recommend more than half of the male massage therapists I know to women.
Due to the situation, I urge you to be extremely careful when choosing any male massage therapist. I understand that this call is very unfair to some wonderful professional male massage therapists, but the truth is that situations where women are sexually assaulted by massage therapists are not isolated cases, so just be careful and use all the caution you can when approaching a man for such an intimate process. Use caution, intuition, and if the line is crossed, don't be afraid to draw it hard.
